PROFILE OF A LIBERTY HILL EDUCATOR
Liberty Hill ISD Educators are compassionate leaders, effective collaborators, adaptable thinkers,
determined problem-solvers, and skilled communicators.
PRIMARY PURPOSE
Monitor and support the safety and security of the high school parking lot throughout the school
day. Maintain a visible presence to deter unsafe behavior, observe student activity, and
communicate concerns to campus administration to ensure a safe and orderly environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification
● High school diploma or GED.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
● Ability to monitor surroundings and recognize safety concerns
● Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff
● Ability to follow directions and respond appropriately in urgent situations
● Ability to maintain composure and sound judgment in a fast-paced environment
● Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience
● Prior experience working with youth or in a school environment preferred

Job Description: High School Parking Lot Attendant
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Safety and Monitoring
● Monitor the high school parking lot throughout the school day to ensure student safety and
security
● Maintain a visible presence to deter unsafe behavior and promote appropriate student
conduct
● Observe student activity and identify potential safety concerns or violations
Response and Communication
● Intervene minimally when appropriate to redirect student behavior and prevent unsafe
situations
● Communicate concerns, incidents, or emergencies to campus administration using radio or
other communication methods
● Respond promptly to directions from campus administration during incidents or
emergencies
● Document incidents and submit basic reports as required
Traffic and Parking Support
● Assist with monitoring traffic flow during arrival and dismissal to promote safe and efficient
movement of vehicles
● Support the enforcement of campus parking expectations as directed by campus
administration
General Duties
● Operate a golf cart or patrol on foot to monitor assigned areas
● Follow district safety protocols and campus procedures
● Assist with other campus duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
● None.
MENTAL/PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
● Tools/Equipment Used: Two-way radio, golf cart (as assigned)
● Posture: Prolonged standing and walking; occasional sitting
● Motion: Frequent walking; occasional bending, reaching, and turning
● Lifting: Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds).

and active traffic areas
