Job Description: Liaisoning Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Government Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for government bodies such as the MPCB (Maharashtra Pollution Control Board), MIDC, Factory Inspectorate, and Municipal Corporations.
Statutory Approvals: Obtain and renew all necessary licenses, including Factory Licenses, Trade Licenses, Fire Safety NOCs, and environmental clearances.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the facility adheres to the Factories Act, labor laws, and industrial safety norms relevant to the welding and cutting industry.
Documentation & Drafting: Prepare, draft, and submit legal documents, applications, and reports to various government authorities.
Liaison with Utilities: Coordinate with electricity boards (MSEB) and water supply departments for uninterrupted industrial operations and new connections.
Internal Coordination: Work closely with HR, Operations, and Legal teams to ensure all site activities align with local regulations and land-related permits.
Community & External Relations: Manage relationships with local community leaders and industrial associations to ensure a smooth operating environment.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education: Any Graduate (MBA or Law degree is often preferred).
Experience: 5–7 years in industrial liaisoning, preferably within the manufacturing or engineering sector in Pune.
Skills: * Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
In-depth knowledge of Maharashtra industrial laws and MIDC protocols.
Proficiency in local languages (Marathi) and English for effective communication with officials.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and legal documentation.
