On behalf of our client ECOFIN Software & Technology AG, a Swiss Fintech company which is a leader in the Wealtech space, we are currently recruiting a Senior DevOps & Cloud engineer, to take part in and mold their cloud transformation journey.
As a member of the DevOps team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the Finfox platform. You will collaborate closely with a strong engineering team, product owners, and business analysts in an agile and modern setup.
Tasks
- Decomposing monolithic applications into scalable microservices
- Collaborating on production-grade development
- Migrating existing workloads to the cloud
- Building and maintaining services that operate on customer premises using Kubernetes
Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
- 3+ years as a Cloud or DevOps Engineer, preferably in the financial sector
- Experience with cloud infrastructures, especially AWS
- Proficiency with automation tools like Helm, Pulumi, Ansible, GitLab-Pipelines, or Jenkins
- Strong skills in Python, Bash, and Java or Kotlin
- Experience in containerized/clustered environments (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
- Fluent in German (B2+) and English (B2)
- A strong desire and ability to learn and grow
It would be great if you had
- Hands-on experience migrating or transforming legacy systems to the cloud
- Practical experience with Pulumi or Terraform
- Professional background in designing and operating solutions on-premises and on AWS
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK-Stack
- Familiarity with OpenSearch/ElasticSearch, Kafka, and OAuth2
- Experience with frameworks like Quarkus or SpringBoot
