Lexington Manufacturing, LLC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our fast‑paced manufacturing operations. This is a hands‑on role for a technical problem‑solver who thrives on keeping machines, equipment, and facilities running safely, efficiently, and reliably.
This is not a routine maintenance role. You’ll weld, fabricate, troubleshoot, and continuously improve equipment that directly impacts production and quality—every day.

About the Role
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining uptime, safety, and equipment performance across our facility. You’ll work closely with production teams and provide leadership to other maintenance staff while helping drive continuous improvement.
This role reports to: Maintenance Supervisor
Work arrangement: On‑site, hands‑on manufacturing environment
What You’ll Do
Machine & Facility Maintenance
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on machinery, equipment, and building systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
- Dismantle, clean, repair, replace, and test components to restore proper function
- Weld and fabricate parts to improve safety, reliability, and performance
- Operate forklifts or material‑handling equipment as needed
Quality, Process & Improvement
- Conduct equipment, quality, and output inspections
- Follow safety regulations, quality procedures, work instructions, and documentation requirements
- Review daily work orders and manage priorities effectively
- Maintain accurate preventative maintenance logs
- Understand SPC, control plans, and quality specifications
- Recommend improvements to processes, equipment, and standards
Leadership & Communication
- Provide guidance, training, and direction to Maintenance Technicians
- Keep supervisors informed of issues impacting safety, production, or planning
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and collaboration
Safety
- Perform work safely and proactively identify hazards
- Follow PPE requirements and safety procedures
- Handle and store hazardous materials properly
- Attend required safety training
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 2‑year technical degree or 5+ years of experience (or equivalent combination)
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with welding, fabrication, hydraulics, pneumatics, and machining
- Ability to troubleshoot 110v, 208v, and 480v (single‑ and three‑phase) systems
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and maintenance documentation
- Computer proficiency for documentation and maintenance tracking
Nice to Have
- Manufacturing environment experience
- Leadership or mentoring experience
- Building maintenance knowledge (plumbing, electrical, facilities)
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Stand and move for 8–10 hours per shift
- Perform repetitive motions
- Lift up to 40 lbs unassisted
- Work in environments with dust, heat/humidity, and occasional paint odors
- Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
