Your Role: Groundskeeper Supervisor / Maintenance Technician

As a Groundskeeper Supervisor / Maintenance Technician, you will support the day-to-day maintenance and curb appeal of Del Mar while assisting with the supervision of groundskeeper staff. This role combines hands-on maintenance work with leadership responsibilities to ensure the community is well maintained, safe, and welcoming for residents and guests.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in supervising and supporting the groundskeeper/porter team
• Perform general apartment maintenance and repairs across the community
• Prepare apartment homes for new occupancy, including unit turns
• Maintain apartment homes for current residents
• Perform carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and appliance repairs
• Coordinate maintenance work with outside vendors as needed
• Maintain common areas, leasing office, and recreational facilities
• Work closely with the Community Manager and onsite team to support daily operations
• Promote safety, cleanliness, and curb appeal throughout the community

What We’re Looking For

• Prior apartment or residential maintenance experience required
• Some staff supervision or lead experience preferred
• Strong all-around maintenance skills, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and appliance repair
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Compensation & Perks

• The Lewis Group of Companies reasonably expects to pay $27.00–$30.00 per hour, with actual compensation based on skills, experience, and business needs
