About the role This position is responsible for the repair and maintenance of building machinery, general building conditions, and vehicles for the facility. Interaction/Supervision with outside suppliers that enter building for PM’s on heavy lift equipment, quarterly calibrations of equipment, and other types of building or employee needs. Responsibilities Supports a safe work environment by following safety policies and procedures Processes and coordinates work orders for facility repairs Supports functionality of the facility Orders components and materials needed by the Maintenance department including, but not limited to, electrical and plumbing Prepares facility maintenance reports Serves as primary point of contact for employees to report maintenance needs Coordinates repairs for all facility material handling equipment Schedules inspections and preventive maintenance for facility equipment including, but not limited to, compressors, generator, fire alarms, etc. Maintains Maintenance Crib Inventory Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (at an intermediate level) Effective written and verbal English communication skills Basic math, accounting, plumbing, electrical and building maintenance knowledge Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent Experience working in a manufacturing environment and/or facilities maintenance Travel Travel Up to 5% may be required What We Offer Comprehensive benefits include: Medical, dental, and vision insurance programs 401K plans with employer-matching contributions Tuition reimbursement PTO Paid holidays Volunteer time off For more information about benefits, please go to: https://careers.leviton.com/benefits Leviton is an EEO/AA Employer.
