As a Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET), you will be part of an innovative and collaborative team, developing software solutions with Django and PostgreSQL at the core.Role OverviewAs a GET, you will work closely with our engineering team to design, develop, and maintain applications. This role provides an excellent opportunity to learn and grow in a supportive environment, with exposure to modern web technologies and best practices.Key Responsibilities● Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Django.● Collaborate with team members to design database schemas and optimize queries in PostgreSQL.● Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following industry standards.● Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality deliverables.● Stay updated with emerging technologies and contribute to improving our development processes.Qualifications● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or arelated field.● Strong understanding of programming concepts and object-oriented design.● Knowledge of Python and familiarity with Django (coursework or projects preferred).● Basic understanding of relational databases, with exposure to PostgreSQL being a plus.● Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.● Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Preferred Skills● Experience with web development through internships, projects, or coursework.● Familiarity with version control systems like Git.● Basic knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.● Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
