About the Role This role is part of the Field Sales organization of a leading global hotel company and is responsible for driving leisure sales growth across the company’s resort and all‑inclusive portfolio. The position focuses on influencing and motivating leisure travel agencies, tour operators, and wholesalers to position the company’s brands as the preferred hotel choice for their clients through education‑led engagement and strategic relationship management.
The role is fully remote but requires the candidate to be based in New Delhi or the wider Delhi NCR, including Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad, or Ghaziabad, to support in‑person engagement with travel advisors and partners. The candidate must also be able to commute to the company’s South Asia regional headquarters office in Gurgaon for in‑person meetings as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business development across key leisure travel agencies and tour operators throughout India
- Identify, qualify, and manage high‑potential agencies and trade partners within the leisure travel market
- Build and grow strong relationships with front‑line travel agents and tour operator trade teams through face‑to‑face and virtual engagement
- Increase awareness, advocacy, and sales performance for the company’s resort and all‑inclusive portfolio through joint sales calls, trainings, webinars, and territory events
- Deliver tailored sales presentations and education‑focused messaging that clearly communicates brand and product value
- Leverage agency and tour operator performance data to prioritize accounts, manage engagement frequency, and identify growth opportunities
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to align territory activity with overall commercial strategy and business priorities
- Support the planning and delivery of territory‑wide events and familiarization (FAM) trips, serving as host as required
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of all sales activity, meetings, and engagements within the CRM
- Analyze performance trends, market share, and revenue data to evaluate effectiveness and improve return on investment
Skills & Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in leisure sales, business development, account management, or a related commercial role
- Prior experience in hospitality, travel, or tourism strongly preferred
- Proven ability to build, influence, and manage relationships with travel trade partners
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence delivering presentations, trainings, and partner engagements
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into effective sales actions
- Highly organized with strong time‑management and administrative skills
- Comfortable working remotely and traveling approximately 30% of the time for agency visits, events, and in‑person meetings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams); experience with CRM and reporting tools preferred
- Fluency in English required; additional languages are an advantage
- Must be based in New Delhi or the Delhi NCR with the ability to commute to the regional headquarters office in Gurgaon as needed
