LIBRARY CHILDREN'S ACTIVITY COORDINATOR

 

CLOSING DATE: May 19, 2026

PAY RATE: $13.80 per hour

SCHEDULE: Hours will depend on the program involved with and will be discussed during the interview. 18-20 hours per week. This is not a seasonal job but rather a year-round position.

DEPARTMENT: Library

 

JOB SUMMARY

 

Performs duties related to the planning and implementing of programs, creative activities, book discussions and programs for all ages. May assist with social media promotions.

RESPONSIBLITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

 

• Graduation from high school.
• Ability to work well in a team setting.
• Ability to collaborate in creating fun entertaining events for all ages.
• Treat adults and children with respect.
• Enjoy creating visual aids and paper crafts geared toward school-aged children.
• Have the ability to laugh and enjoy working with children.
• Comfortable working in front of large groups of participants.
• Knowledge of basic computer use.
• Must pass drug and background test before hire.
• Current driver's license with own transportation.
• Needs to be comfortable being recorded for on-line programs.
• Must be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude.
• Must have excellent communication skills.

Provides municipal services and public safety to Lehi residents.
