Lead the charge in enhancing workplace safety, optimizing safety protocols, and fostering a culture of health and compliance, while mentoring a talented team to ensure flawless operations and sustainable growth. 


Core Responsibilities 
 

  • Serve the primary EHS resource for 2nd shift, providing visible floor leadership and practical risk-based guidance to employees, leaders, and support teams. 
     

  • Lead hazard identification, risk assessment, and corrective action follow-up across operational areas, with focus on machine safety, ergonomics, material handling, and production-related risks.  

  • Conduct inspections, audits, and field observations to assess compliance, strengthen operational discipline, and drive sustainable closure of safety gaps.  

  • Lead incident and near-miss investigations using root cause analysis; ensure corrective actions are assigned, tracked, and verified for effectiveness.  

  • Analyze EHS data and trends to identify recurring risks, prioritize improvements, and support stronger safety performance.  

  • Partner with production leadership to embed EHS expectations into shift routines, handoffs, problem-solving, and employee engagement.  

  • Maintain accurate EHS records and reporting while collaborating with EHS, engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to support compliance and operational readiness.

Do You Have What It Takes? 

A degree or equivalent experience in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field is highly desired.  This provides the technical foundation needed for effective safety management and hazard mitigation. Experience in manufacturing and expertise in safety management systems will empower you to drive efficiency and excellence in operations. 

Must Have:

• Proven experience in EHS or related field, with a strong understanding of worker safety. 

• Experience working with safety management systems such as ISO and compliance standards. 

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for building local and global relationships. 

• Ability to drive process improvements and strategic safety initiatives. 

• Capacity for analysis and problem-solving with a strategic vision. 

• Experience in incident investigation and regulatory reporting. 

Nice to Have:

• Background in Lean Manufacturing and safety improvement methodologies. 

• Familiarity with regulatory compliance processes and sustainability practices. 

• Experience in new safety program introduction and innovation. 

• Basic understanding of human and organizational performance concepts. 

 
Additional: 

 
• No relocation available. 
• Some minimal international travel may be required. 
• Role requires working the 2nd shift (4:00 PM – 12:30 AM). 

 

Compensation

The salary for this position has a range of $84,674.00 - $127,010.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
