About the role
As a Duct Cleaning Technician, you’ll perform residential and light commercial duct cleaning services to improve system performance and indoor air quality. You’ll work directly with customers, inspect systems, and complete thorough cleanings using professional equipment.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys physical work, attention to detail, and delivering a strong customer experience.
What You'll Do

Duct Cleaning & Service
- Perform duct cleaning and sanitizing services for residential and light commercial systems
- Use equipment such as vacuums, air whips, and agitation tools to remove dust and debris
- Seal and sanitize ducts following company standards
Inspection & Recommendations
- Inspect ductwork and HVAC systems prior to cleaning
- Identify buildup, airflow issues, or system concerns
- Communicate findings clearly and recommend next steps when needed
Customer Experience
- Deliver a professional, respectful experience in customers’ homes
- Answer questions and explain the cleaning process
- Educate customers on indoor air quality and system maintenance
Equipment & Job Readiness
- Maintain and clean duct cleaning equipment and tools
- Ensure all equipment is in working condition before each job
- Report any issues with tools or equipment
Documentation
- Complete job notes, service details, and recommendations in company systems
- Accurately document work performed and customer interactions
Safety
- Follow all safety protocols and wear proper PPE
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
What You'll Bring
- Previous HVAC, duct cleaning, or mechanical experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and pride in clean, high-quality work
- Ability to work in confined spaces, attics, and varying conditions
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physical work
- Strong communication skills and customer-first mindset
- Valid driver’s license
