Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Legal Associate with 1+ years of experience to support the organization on legal matters, with a primary focus on contract management, legal drafting, and compliance. The role requires working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure legal efficiency and risk mitigation.
Job Responsibility
1. Contract Management & Drafting
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements and legal documents, including vendor contracts, service agreements, NDAs, and partnership agreements
- Ensure all contracts are legally robust, risk-mitigated, and aligned with the organization’s business objectives and commercial requirements
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear contractual terms
- Maintain a well-organized repository of all agreements and systematically track key terms, obligations, renewal dates, and compliance requirements
2. Compliance & Regulatory
- Monitor and ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards relevant to the organization
- Assist in the development, review, and implementation of internal policies, compliance frameworks, and standard operating procedures
- Support internal and external compliance audits by preparing documentation and coordinating with relevant teams
- Proactively identify potential compliance risks and recommend corrective or preventive measures
3. Litigation Support
- Assist in the preparation, review, and management of legal notices, replies, affidavits, and other case-related documentation
- Maintain records of litigation matters and track case progress, deadlines, and key developments
- Provide support in dispute resolution processes, including arbitration and settlement discussions
4. Documentation & Research
- Draft and review legal notices, responses, internal memos, and other legal documentation as required
- Conduct in-depth legal research on various issues impacting the organization and provide concise summaries or recommendations
