Role OverviewWe are looking for a Legal AI Specialist who can bridge the gap between legal expertise and AI development. This role involves working closely with developers to design, test, and optimize AI-driven legal solutions, with a strong focus on prompt engineering, legal reasoning, and output accuracy.
Key Responsibilities- Design, test, and optimize prompts for AI models (e.g., OpenAI, LLMs) for legal use cases
- Work closely with developers and product teams to build AI-powered legal tools
- Translate legal requirements into structured prompts and workflows
- Review and validate AI-generated legal outputs for accuracy and compliance
- Improve model performance through prompt iteration and fine-tuning strategies
- Build use cases such as contract analysis, summarization, clause extraction, and legal Q&A
- Assist in training datasets and refining legal datasets for AI models
- Document prompt frameworks, workflows, and best practices
- Stay updated with advancements in legal-tech and AI
Required Skills & Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB/LLM)
- 1–4 years of experience in legal practice, legal research, or legal-tech
- Strong understanding of contracts, legal documentation, and compliance
- Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Experience or interest in prompt engineering
- Ability to work closely with technical teams (developers, data teams)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good to Have- Experience working with AI tools like OpenAI, ChatGPT, or similar platforms
- Exposure to legal-tech products or automation tools
- Basic knowledge of APIs, JSON, or structured data formats
- Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems
- Experience in drafting or reviewing complex contracts
