Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Legal Tech Associate at Team Counsel. The Legal Tech Associate will be responsible for supporting the integration of technology into legal processes, assisting in legal automation projects, managing legal databases and documentation systems, and conducting research on legal tech tools. The role will also involve assisting in Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) implementation projects. The associate will collaborate closely with the legal, growth, and leadership teams to improve operational efficiency, build scalable tech-enabled legal solutions, and contribute to knowledge management and system development initiatives across the startup ecosystem.
Please Note:
- This is a full-time role.
- The role is remote as of now, with potential in-person collaboration requirements in the future as needed.
- Preference will be given to candidates based in Bangalore.
Qualifications & Skills
- Recent graduate or up to 1–3 years of experience from a law, legal tech, business-law, or technology-related background.
- Prior experience or exposure to CLM implementation, contract management, legal operations, or workflow automation will be preferred.
- Prior exposure to startups, SaaS tools, or tech-enabled consulting will be an added advantage.
- Strong interest in legal technology, automation, CLM systems, process optimisation, and innovation in legal services.
- Basic understanding of corporate law, contracts, or compliance frameworks will be an advantage.
- Comfort with legal research tools, documentation systems, CRMs, no-code/low-code platforms, or productivity tools.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a process-driven mindset.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong management and organisational abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Professionalism, ownership mindset, and willingness to continuously learn new tools and systems.
