We Are Hiring | Legal Operations Intern (Litigation & Case Management)
Location: Corporate Office – OMAX Autos Limited
Stipend: ₹20,000 per month
Duration: 3–6 months (extendable based on performance)
About the Role
OMAX Autos Limited is seeking a detail-oriented Legal Operations Intern to support the management of the company’s litigation portfolio. The role involves migrating and organizing case data onto a legal management platform (MyKase), reviewing case files, preparing summaries, and coordinating with external advocates to ensure timely case readiness.
This position will report to a Legal Executive (2–3 years’ experience) and offers hands-on exposure to litigation management and legal operations.
Key Responsibilities
Case Data Migration & System Setup
• Migrate all case-related data from Microsoft OneDrive to MyKase
• Organize documents in a structured, case-wise format
• Ensure accurate tagging (case number, court, stage, advocates, next hearing date)
Case Review & Summarization
• Review legal case files and prepare concise summaries (facts, status, risks, next steps)
• Maintain updated case notes and documentation
Hearing & Deadline Tracking
• Track upcoming hearing dates, filings, and compliance deadlines
• Maintain a centralized litigation tracker/dashboard
Advocate Coordination
• Liaise with external lawyers to collect updates and documents
• Ensure readiness of filings and documentation prior to hearings
Ongoing Case Management
• Regularly update MyKase with case developments
• Maintain document completeness and version control
Candidate Profile
• Law student (3rd–5th year) or recent law graduate
• Strong interest in litigation and legal operations
• Excellent reading comprehension and ability to summarize legal documents
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good communication skills for coordinating with advocates
• Comfortable working with digital tools and platforms
