Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Legal Manager - Business located in Virar. The Legal Manager will be responsible for overseeing legal matters related to housing finance, including preparing and reviewing legal documents, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and advising on legal affairs. The role involves providing expert legal consulting, managing risk assessment from a legal perspective, and liaising with stakeholders to ensure all legal requirements are met throughout the loan processing and business operations.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Law and understanding of legal frameworks
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation and drafting legal agreements
- Experience with Legal Consulting and providing objective legal advice
- Knowledge of Legal Compliance practices, regulatory policies, and procedures
- Ability to manage Legal Affairs effectively within the housing finance industry
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); LLM or additional qualifications in corporate law are an advantage
- 2-3 years of Experience in housing finance or a similar financial services sector is preferred
- Familiarity with the regulatory framework and the housing finance industry in India
