Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Legal Manager position located in Chennai. The Legal Manager will oversee legal strategies, ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, manage the preparation and review of legal documents, and provide legal consultations for the company. The role also involves liaising with external counsel, handling legal disputes, managing corporate legal affairs, and supporting operational and business units with tailored legal advice.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation and Legal Consulting
- Expertise in Legal Compliance and understanding of regulatory frameworks
- Experience in managing Legal Affairs and providing strategic legal input
- Knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to the finance sector
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of Title Searches for properties to be mortgaged
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or higher legal qualifications
- Prior experience in the financial services or banking industry is preferred
