Company Description Rights First Foundation is a pro-bono legal services organization dedicated to strengthening access to justice for marginalized communities. The foundation focuses on legal literacy, helping the public better understand their rights and the law, particularly in underserved areas. It advances access to justice through free legal aid, juridical advocacy, and support for legal reform. In addition, Rights First Foundation works to preserve and empower diverse arts, crafts, food, language, music, and cultural traditions across India, connecting legal empowerment with social and cultural resilience.
Role Description This full-time, on-site Legal Journalism Intern (Educational Content Creation) role is hybrid. The intern will research legal topics relevant to marginalized communities and translate complex legal concepts into clear, engaging educational content such as articles, explainer pieces, case summaries, and social media posts. They will collaborate with legal professionals to ensure accuracy, develop content for legal literacy campaigns, and assist in preparing materials for workshops and public outreach. Daily tasks include monitoring current legal developments, drafting and editing content, organizing information for legal document preparation, and supporting team projects that advance access to justice and public awareness.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Law and familiarity with Legal Issues, particularly those affecting marginalized communities.
- Ability to contribute to Legal Consulting activities, including understanding client needs and supporting legal advocacy initiatives.
- Skills in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting basic legal summaries, briefs, and educational materials under supervision.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to present legal information clearly and accessibly in written and verbal formats.
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a law degree or related legal studies program.
- Demonstrated interest in social justice, human rights, and public legal education.
- Strong research, critical thinking, and editorial skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site in the Greater Delhi Area and manage multiple content projects responsibly.
