Role Description The Legal Intern will support attorneys with legal research, case law analysis, and preparation of case briefs and summaries. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with drafting and reviewing legal documents, organizing case files, and preparing materials for hearings and client meetings. The intern may observe court proceedings, client conferences, and internal strategy discussions to gain practical insight into litigation processes. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, requiring consistent office presence and collaboration with the legal team.
Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of Law and ability to identify and analyze Legal Issues.
- Skills in Legal Consulting support, including assisting in case strategy discussions and client communication.
- Proficiency in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting pleadings, notices, and basic contracts.
- Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal, for interaction with attorneys, staff, and clients.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a law degree (LL.B or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced litigation environment.
- Comfort with legal research tools and basic office software (e.g., online legal databases, word processing, and spreadsheets).
- Professional work ethic, willingness to learn, and interest in criminal, civil, family, and constitutional litigation.
