Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai for a Legal Intern. The Legal Intern will assist in conducting legal research, preparing and reviewing legal documents, and supporting attorneys in handling legal matters. This role involves engaging with legal issues, providing support in legal consultancy, and maintaining effective communication with clients and colleagues. This is a work from home except the court timings when hearings are there. Occasionally have to travel to courts within Chennai like GT court, High Court, Egmore court, etc.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Law with expertise in handling Legal Issues
- Proficiency in Legal Consulting and Legal Document Preparation
- Excellent Communication skills for client and team interaction
- Attention to detail and ability to conduct in-depth Legal Research
- Ability to work in a team environment and manage multiple priorities
- Enrollment in a recognized law program or possession of a law degree
Forget all the above mentioned points except the law program. You will learn them eventually with me. I am looking for a quick learner, a bright Student who would grasp things quick and act quick. You will be responsible for minor works and must know to use Ai too. I do not encourage too much Ai but right way to use it. Preparing documents, arranging them, making files for filing, taking care of the section works would.
You will learn what other law firms don't teach you at MIR Insaaf.
Pay Model:
First 6 months will be a non paid Internship providing Certificates. But incentives for onboarding client will be given. This will also be your probation period. Once qualified for full time pay will be discussed based on performance along with incentives.
