Company Description
Arun Chauhan & Associates, established in 2020 by Adv. Arun Chauhan, is a highly-regarded law firm specializing in litigation, corporate advisory, dispute resolution and regulatory compliance. Known for its client-centric approach, the firm combines professional insight, technical expertise, and strategic foresight to deliver tailored legal solutions. With a strong focus on ethical conduct, transparency, and excellence, the firm handles matters in corporate structuring, commercial transactions, arbitration, insolvency, and more.
Role Description
We are inviting applications for the position of Legal Intern for a one-month internship commencing from 1st July. This is a primarily remote internship with occasional requirements for physical presence before courts, tribunals, or the office as may be necessary. Preference may be given to candidates residing in South Delhi, considering ease of commute for court appearances and office-related work.
Unlike conventional internships focused solely on supporting firm operations, this internship is structured with a strong emphasis on the professional growth and practical learning of the intern. The selected interns will receive hands-on exposure to real legal work across litigation and corporate practice areas.
The role will involve:
- Legal research and case analysis
- Drafting of articles, pleadings, agreements, contracts, and legal opinions
- Assistance in court filings and procedural work
- Supporting counsel during court appearances and hearings
- Exposure to corporate advisory and regulatory matters
- Collaboration on dispute resolution and compliance-related assignments
Interns will be encouraged to actively engage with practical legal work and develop drafting, analytical, and professional skills essential to the legal profession.
Eligibility & Qualifications
3rd year and above in a 5-year integrated law course; or
2nd year and above in a 3-year LL.B. course
- Strong interest in litigation, corporate/commercial law, and legal drafting
- Good legal research and communication skills
- Ability to analyze legal issues with attention to detail
- Capability to work independently in a hybrid/remote environment
- Commitment to ethical legal practice and confidentiality
Prior internships, publications, or firm experience are not mandatory, though they will be considered an advantage. We value aptitude, sincerity, and willingness to learn over credentials alone.
This is presently an unpaid internship. However, remuneration may be provided where an intern delivers valuable and impactful work during the internship period.
Show us your capability and commitment, and we will ensure that you receive meaningful exposure and guidance in your journey toward becoming an Advocate.
