Job details:
To manage all court matters, disputes, legal notices, police matters, consumer cases, RERA disputes, recovery matters, land disputes, contractor/vendor claims, employee legal matters, and external advocates efficiently while protecting company interests.
A. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Court Case Management
- Handle all civil, criminal, consumer, RERA, NCLT, arbitration, municipal, revenue and high court matters.
- Maintain complete case-wise tracker.
- Attend important hearings personally where required.
- Coordinate with panel advocates daily.
- Ensure timely filing of vakalatnama, replies, rejoinders, affidavits, appeals.
2. Advocate Coordination
- Appoint, monitor and review external advocates.
- Negotiate advocate fees.
- Ensure advocates are fully briefed with documents.
- Demand hearing notes after every date.
- Ensure no adjournments due to company delays.
3. Legal Notices & Replies
- Draft/send/respond to legal notices.
- Builder-buyer disputes.
- Vendor payment claims.
- Defamation / reputation issues.
- Recovery notices.
4. RERA / Consumer Complaints
- Handle customer possession delay matters.
- Compensation claims.
- Misrepresentation complaints.
- Settlement strategy before escalation.
5. Land / Title / Possession Disputes
- Encroachment matters.
- Illegal possession.
- Society/member disputes.
- Family ownership disputes.
- Access road / easement issues.
6. Police / Authority Coordination
- Police complaints.
- NC/FIR guidance.
- Anti-extortion / threats / illegal interference matters.
7. Settlement & Recovery
- Negotiate out-of-court settlements.
- Recovery from debtors/defaulters.
- Closure strategy to avoid long litigation.
8. Internal Risk Advisory
- Guide management before taking risky decisions.
- Assess litigation exposure in projects.
B. DAILY MANAGEMENT COORDINATION
- Submit daily litigation MIS to management.
- Upcoming hearing dates.
- Risk matters.
- Urgent approvals required.
- Settlement opportunities.
- Financial exposure summary.
- New notices received.
C. REPORTING SYSTEM
1. Daily Report:
- Hearings attended
- Orders passed
- Notices received
- Notices sent
- Pending approvals
2. Weekly Report:
- Case progress summary
- Success ratio
- Delay reasons
- Advocate performance
3. Monthly Report:
- Total active cases
- Cases won/lost

E. REQUIRED PROFILE
- LLB / LLM preferred
- 10+ years litigation experience
- Real estate litigation exposure mandatory
- Strong drafting & negotiation skills
- Court network preferred
