Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Executive role located in Mangaluru. The Executive will be responsible for assisting in
* Corporate Law:
Entity formation, corporate structuring, Due Diligence,group reorganisations and restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, takeovers, founder exits and buyouts, foreign direct investment into India and out of India, including drafting and negotiating commercial agreements across sectors. Drafting/appearinces before the NCLT.
* Regulatory filings and documentation
Corporate governance, foreign exchange matters, sector-specific regulations, licensing and operational readiness, operational set-up, statutory filings and approvals, and liaisoning with regulatory authorities
* Intellectual Property Rights
Applications, Appearances, Hearings and research
Other Statutory Laws
Registrations under Trust Act, Societies Act, Partnership Act, labour laws, POSH Act etc.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Company Law, SEBI Regulations, and corporate legal compliance
- Experience in legal drafting, transaction support, and secretarial practices
- Proficiency in conducting MCA and ROC filings, as well as handling NCLT cases and compounding matters
- Knowledge of FEMA regulations, FEMA compliance, and foreign investment advisory
- Highly organized, detail-oriented with time management and multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Hands-on experience in corporate governance and regulatory compliance processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Commerce, or a related field; Company Secretary qualification is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, legal research tools, and compliance software
- Work experience in handling corporate regulatory matters and a proactive approach to solving compliance challenges is an advantage
