*Australian Foods India Private Limited* is looking for a *Legal Executive* to join our team in Chennai.
Who can apply?
✔ LL.B graduates (3-year or 5-year course)
✔ 0–1 year experience
✔ Pursuing CS is a plus (not mandatory)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Draft, review, vet, and negotiate a wide range of agreements including vendor agreements, franchise agreements, lease deeds, NDAs, and commercial contracts.
2. Ensure compliance with applicable laws including Companies Act, Labour Laws, FSSAI regulations, Environmental Laws, and IPR laws
3. Assist in handling corporate and commercial legal matters, including day-to-day advisory to business teams
4. Prepare agendas, notices, minutes, and supporting documents for Board Meetings and General Meetings
5. Handle ROC filings, maintenance of statutory registers, and other secretarial compliances
6. Coordinate with external legal counsel, consultants, and regulatory authorities when required
7. Support in drafting legal notices, replies, and basic litigation documentation
8. Conduct legal research and provide concise opinions on various legal issues
9. Monitor changes in applicable laws and ensure timely implementation of compliance requirements
10. Maintain proper documentation, contract repository, and compliance trackers
11. Support internal teams (HR, Operations, Supply Chain, etc.) on legal and compliance-related queries
