## Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Legal Executive to support the company's real estate operations. The candidate will be responsible for handling property-related legal documentation, title verification, due diligence, contract management, regulatory compliance, and coordination with internal teams and external authorities.
## Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal due diligence and title verification for land and property transactions.
- Draft, review, and vet agreements, including Sale Agreements, Lease Agreements, Development Agreements, Joint Development Agreements, MOUs, Power of Attorney, and other legal documents.
- Ensure compliance with applicable real estate laws, RERA regulations, local municipal regulations, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate property registration, stamp duty, and documentation with government authorities.
- Handle legal notices, responses, and documentation related to disputes and litigation.
- Liaise with external advocates, legal consultants, government departments, and regulatory authorities.
- Maintain legal records, contracts, and property-related documentation.
- Assist management in identifying and mitigating legal risks associated with real estate projects.
- Provide legal support to the sales, projects, finance, and management teams.
- Monitor legal updates and advise the organization on changes in relevant laws and regulations.
## Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in real estate legal documentation and property transactions.
- Experience with land acquisition, title verification, and RERA compliance is preferred.
## Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of real estate laws, property documentation, and land records.
- Excellent drafting and contract review skills.
- Familiarity with RERA, Registration Act, Transfer of Property Act, Stamp Act, and other applicable laws.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal documentation management.
## Preferred Candidate Profile
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple legal matters.
- High attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience working with real estate developers, construction companies, or property consulting firms is preferred.
Qualifications
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB)
- Enrollment with the State Bar Council is preferred.
- 1- 3 years of experience in real estate, property law, or legal documentation.
- Sound knowledge of property laws, RERA, land acquisition, title verification, and contract drafting.
- Familiarity with the Registration Act, Transfer of Property Act, Stamp Act, and other applicable real estate laws.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal documentation management.
- Strong analytical, drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple legal matters while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
