About the Role
We are seeking a Legal & Ethics & Compliance (E&C) Counsel to support multiple business entities in India. This role is responsible for managing legal risks, overseeing the E&C program, and supporting investigations in coordination with regional legal leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clear and practical legal advice to business stakeholders
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with a focus on risk management
- Support and maintain contract management processes and systems
- Monitor and support compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations
- Deliver training sessions on legal and compliance-related topics
- Manage external legal counsel when required
- Ensure structured and consistent reporting to regional legal leadership
- Participate in leadership or management discussions as needed
Qualifications & Experience
- Law degree from a reputable university
- Qualified lawyer in India (or equivalent)
- Solid understanding of India’s legal and regulatory landscape, including commercial and cross-border matters
- Possess good knowledge of contract, corporate, and competition law
- Exposure to data protection and/or regulated industries is an advantage
- Experience or strong interest in Ethics & Compliance programs; prior E&C role is a plus

Additional Information
- Occasional travel within India is required
- Some international travel may be involved
