About The Role

Restroworks is looking for a Legal Counsel to join its in-house legal team at our Delhi office. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams across global markets on SaaS contracts, commercial negotiations, compliance, and privacy.

This position is ideal for someone who wants to build a long-term in-house career, enjoys problem-solving, and can balance legal rigor with commercial pragmatism in a fast-moving technology business.

What You’ll Do

Contracting & Commercial Negotiations (Core Focus)

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including SaaS agreements, MSAs, SOWs, reseller and channel partner agreements, NDAs, vendor contracts, and customer-facing contracts.
  • Act as a key legal partner to Sales, Finance, Operations, and Product teams, providing timely, pragmatic legal support to enable commercial closures.
  • Lead end-to-end contract negotiations, balancing risk management with business objectives.
  • Create, standardise, and continuously improve contract templates, negotiation playbooks, and clause libraries to drive efficiency and consistency.
  • Support deal structuring, pricing models, renewals, amendments, and contract lifecycle management.

Employment & HR Legal Support

  • Provide legal support to HR and business leaders on employment-related matters, including:
    • Employment contracts, offer letters, amendments, and separation documentation
    • Workplace policies, employee handbooks, and code of conduct
    • Disciplinary processes, investigations, and performance management matters
  • Advise on labour and employment law compliance, including POSH, disciplinary procedures, and employee grievance handling.
  • Support HR on sensitive people matters with a practical, risk-aware, and compliant approach.
  • Assist in managing disputes, notices, and coordination with external counsel where required.
Risk Management & Legal Operations

  • Provide day-to-day legal advice to internal stakeholders across functions on operational and commercial issues.
  • Identify legal and contractual risks and propose clear, implementable solutions aligned with business realities.
  • Support the continuous improvement of internal legal processes and documentation.

Data Privacy (Limited Scope)

  • Support basic data protection compliance requirements in commercial contracts and internal policies, in coordination with relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • LL.B. with 5–6 years of post-qualification experience, preferably with exposure to both law firm and in-house environments.
  • Strong, hands-on experience in commercial and SaaS contracting, with confidence in structuring and negotiating complex agreements.
  • Experience supporting employment and HR legal matters in an in-house or closely aligned role.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A commercial, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to translate legal risk into business-friendly advice.
  • High ownership, accountability, and curiosity to understand how legal supports business growth.
