Position: Legal Counsel (Remote)
Salary: INR 40,000 per month

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to support the company across employment law, regulatory compliance, and general corporate legal matters. This is a remote role, ideal for a proactive legal professional comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on labor and employment laws (India + international exposure preferred)
- Draft, review, and update employment contracts, policies, and HR frameworks
- Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, data protection regulations, and platform-related legal requirements
- Advise on employee disputes, disciplinary actions, and terminations
- Support leadership on risk mitigation and compliance strategy
- Draft and review vendor agreements, NDAs, and commercial contracts
- Work closely with HR and leadership to align legal frameworks with business goals
- Monitor evolving legal regulations impacting tech platforms and employment practices
Key Requirements
- LLB / LLM from a recognized institution
- 5–10+ years of experience in employment/labor law and corporate legal advisory
- Strong understanding of Indian labor laws (experience with global jurisdictions is a plus)
- Prior experience with startups, tech platforms, or digital businesses preferred
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
