KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review, draft, and negotiate agreements — SaaS, licensing, channel partner, vendor contracts, NDAs, and partnership agreements.
- Advise on and operationalise compliance under the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023, including consent frameworks and data processing agreements.
- Contract management lifecycle: templates, negotiation, execution, and obligation tracking.
- Draft, file, and manage patent and trademark applications; maintain IP portfolio and coordinate with external IP counsel if required.
- Advise on HealthTech-specific regulations including medical device rules, and clinical data standards.
- Conduct legal research and prepare opinions, internal memos, and compliance updates for leadership.
- Support regulatory filings, due diligence for fund-raises or partnerships, and coordination with litigation counsel as needed.
Requirements- 2 to 6 of experience
- LLB from a recognised institution; Specialisation in IP, Technology, or Health Law preferred.
- Prior experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal team; HealthTech or digital health exposure is an advantage.
- Enrolled with the Bar Council of India (or eligible to enrol)
