Settle Lex helps borrowers across India fight unlawful loan recovery harassment and negotiate fair loan settlements with banks, NBFCs, and digital lenders. We stand between distressed borrowers and aggressive recovery practices — and we're growing fast.
The Role We're looking for a Legal Consultant who can be the first voice our prospective clients hear after they reach out. You'll work with warm inbound leads — people genuinely struggling with loan pressure and recovery harassment — and guide them from anxious enquiry to onboarded client.
This role sits at the intersection of law and sales. You'll need to understand the legal options well enough to advise, and close well enough to convert.
What you'll do
1. Handle inbound calls from leads generated through our digital campaigns
2. Listen, assess each caller's loan situation, and identify how Settle Lex can help
3. Clearly explain settlement strategies, harassment remedies, and our legal process in simple language
4. Build trust quickly and convert qualified leads into paying clients.
5. Maintain clean records in the CRM and follow up on warm leads.
6. Coordinate with the legal team to ensure smooth client handover
What we're looking for
• LLB / law graduate preferred — or strong working knowledge of consumer credit, RBI fair practices code, and loan recovery laws.
• 0-2 years in legal sales, debt counselling, loan settlement, financial services telesales, or similar
• Fluent in Hindi and English (regional languages are a bonus)
• High empathy — our clients are stressed; they need to be heard before they're sold to.
• Target-driven, comfortable with daily call volumes and conversion KPIs
