We are looking for a sharp, adaptable, and business-minded Legal Associate to join our core team and help us build the legal infrastructure for our next phase of growth.
The Role
As a Legal Associate at Raveum, you won't be stuck doing mindless document review. You will be sitting shotgun on major strategic initiatives, working directly on the legal frameworks that drive our business forward. From drafting foundational SaaS agreements to helping structure complex capital raises and real estate contracts, you will get hands-on experience across multiple high-stakes areas of corporate law.
Key Responsibilities
* Core Tech & Privacy: Draft, review, and maintain foundational company documents, including Terms of Service (ToS), Privacy Policies, and user agreements.
* SaaS & Commercial Contracts: Negotiate, draft, and finalize SaaS agreements, vendor contracts, and B2B partnerships in the tech space.
* Securities & Fundraising: Assist with the legal structuring and documentation for complex capital raises, equity financing, and ongoing securities law compliance.
* Real Estate Law: Draft and review contracts, joint venture agreements, and legal documentation related to commercial real estate transactions.
* Strategic Growth: Act as a cross-functional legal partner, identifying potential risks, researching regulatory requirements in the fintech space, and supporting general "growth" initiatives.
* Employment & Internal Compliance: Draft, review, and manage employment agreements, consultant contracts, and internal HR policies to ensure legal protection and regulatory compliance
What We’re Looking For
* Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active state bar membership.
* Experience: 3+ years of experience in corporate law, preferably with exposure to startups, fintech, real estate, or securities.
*Candidates must be well-versed in RBI LRS (Liberalised Remittance Scheme) and ODI (Overseas Direct Investment) regulations
* Startup DNA: You are comfortable with ambiguity, can pivot quickly, and understand that in a startup, legal needs to be a business enabler, not a roadblock.
* Drafting Chops: Strong ability to draft clear, concise, and protective commercial agreements without over-complicating the deal.
* Ownership Mentality: You take pride in your work and are ready to own complex projects from end to end.
