🔍 We're Hiring: Legal Product Advisor @ Pramaan
📍 Remote (India) · Part-time (1–2 hrs/day) · 1–5 YOE
About Pramaan
Pramaan is building the AI-native workspace for Indian legal professionals — covering legal research, intelligent drafting/reviews, and matter management, grounded in High Court and Supreme Court jurisprudence. Think of it as a co-pilot built specifically for Indian legal practice.
We are early-stage and moving fast.
The Role
We are looking for a practising lawyer or law graduate with real courtroom or chamber exposure to work closely with our product team. Your job is to be our legal expert - what workflows it is missing, and what a working lawyer actually needs that we have not yet built.
This is not a traditional legal role. You will be thinking like a product reviewer, a domain expert, and an early user.
What You Will Do
• Review features and outputs of the platform through the lens of actual legal practice — flagging gaps, inaccuracies, or friction points that a non-lawyer would miss.
• Provide legal context on drafting conventions, procedural norms, court-specific practices, and document standards that the product needs to reflect accurately.
• Help define and validate use cases — from bail applications and plaints to contract review — so our AI outputs are grounded in how lawyers actually work.
• Evaluate how Pramaan compares to other legal research and drafting tools available in the market — assessing output quality, depth of reasoning, and practical usefulness from a practitioner's perspective.
• Collaborate asynchronously with the founding team, sharing structured feedback on a regular cadence (no long meetings required).
Who We Are Looking For
• LLB or LLM graduate with at least 1–2 substantive internships or 1–5 years of experience at a court, chamber, or law firm in India.
• Comfortable with technology and curious about AI — you do not need to code, but you should be willing to engage with AI tools critically and analytically.
• Opinionated about what good legal work looks like — we want someone who will push back, not just validate.
• Strong written communication — you will be expected to document feedback clearly in writing, not just verbally.
Nice to Have
• Exposure to civil, criminal, or commercial litigation at a district court or High Court.
• Familiarity with legal research platforms like SCC Online, Manupatra, or Indian Kanoon.
• Interest in legal technology, access to justice, or AI policy.
Engagement and Compensation
This is a part-time advisory role, designed to fit around an existing practice or studies. Expect 1–2 hours of focused engagement per day, mostly async. Compensation is 10K inr monthly.
