Job Title: Legal Assistant
Key Responsibilities
Legal Support
• Prepare, draft, proofread, and edit legal documents (contracts, agreements, correspondence, etc.)
• Organize and maintain physical and digital case files
• Conduct basic legal research and summarize findings
• Track deadlines and manage legal calendars
• Assist attorneys with case preparation and document filing
Client Communication
• Answer and make phone calls to clients, legal offices, and third parties
• Respond to and manage email inquiries professionally and promptly
• Schedule client meetings and follow-up appointments
• Maintain a courteous and professional manner in all client interactions
CRM & Administrative Duties
• Input and manage client and case data in the CRM system
• Track client interactions, legal tasks, and deadlines within CRM
• Generate reports and summaries from CRM as needed
• Organize internal documentation, meeting notes, and updates
• Handle general office duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry
Requirements
• Diploma or certificate in Legal Assistant, Paralegal Studies, or related field
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a legal or administrative support role
• Familiarity with legal terminology, documents, and procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Experience using CRM software (e.g., Clio, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
