Role Description The Legal and Secretarial Associate (LLB and CS) will work full time on-site in Bengaluru, providing end-to-end support on corporate legal and secretarial matters. Responsibilities include drafting and reviewing corporate documents, petitions, application, agreements, and legal opinions, as well as preparing and filing statutory forms and returns with regulatory authorities. The role involves assisting with company secretarial work, corporate litigation, restructuring, I&B, Corporate Agreements, opinions and advisory assignments as needed. The position requires meticulous attention to detail, effective communication, and proactive engagement with evolving legal and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong clerical skills, including accurate documentation, record-keeping, and data management.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience or strong interest in company secretarial work, including statutory filings and compliance support.
- Executive administrative assistance capabilities, such as scheduling, coordination of meetings, and preparation of agendas and minutes.
- Customer service orientation, with a focus on responsiveness, professionalism, and client satisfaction.
- LLB and Company Secretary (CS) qualification from recognized institutions.
- Knowledge of corporate laws, securities regulations, FEMA, labour laws, and related legal frameworks.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic legal/compliance software tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Prior experience in a corporate legal or secretarial firm is an advantage.
