wellness-focused food startup building innovative solutions at the intersection of
nutrition, convenience, and lifestyle health. The company aims to make healthy eating simple and accessible through
structured meal solutions, functional food products, and community-driven food ecosystems.
In the
first year, Kefilo is focused on validating three core business models:
- Meal Solutions – structured healthy meal subscriptions and nutrition-focused daily food services
- Smart Kiosks – technology-enabled kiosks for convenient healthy food distribution in locations like gyms, corporates, and campuses
- Grocery Management & Home Cook Services – a system connecting personalized grocery planning with trained home cooks for nutrition-driven meal delivery
The objective is to
prove these models operationally and commercially, and then scale them into a larger wellness food ecosystem.
Role Overview
We are looking for a
Legal & Business Operations Officer who can support the company in
building strong legal frameworks and structured operational systems as the startup grows.
This role will work closely with the founder to ensure
legal compliance, documentation, partnerships, and operational processes are properly structured from the early stage.
This is an
equity-based role, ideal for someone interested in contributing to the
legal and operational foundation of a startup.
Key Responsibilities 1. Legal Compliance & Documentation
- Manage legal documentation such as agreements, contracts, NDAs, partnership documents, and vendor agreements
- Support compliance related to food business regulations, licenses, and operational approvals
- Business Structuring
- Assist in structuring partnership models for kiosks, home cooks, vendors, and collaborators
- Help design legal frameworks for franchise, partnerships, and operational collaborations
- Investor & Stakeholder Documentation
- Support creation of legal documents for investors, advisors, and equity team members
- Ensure proper documentation for equity agreements and governance structures
- Operational Systems
- Help develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for business operations
- Build structured processes for vendor onboarding, partnerships, and internal operations
- Risk & Compliance Management
- Identify potential legal or operational risks and help build mitigation frameworks
- Ensure the company follows proper documentation and compliance practices
Ideal Candidate
- Background in Law, Business Administration, or Business Operations
- Understanding of contracts, compliance, and business documentation
- Strong interest in startup operations and business structuring
- Ability to create structured processes and documentation
- Comfortable working in an early-stage startup environment
