The group’s NBFC arm, Shine Star Build-Cap, is a Mid-Layer NBFC focused on structured credit, distressed assets, special situations, and asset-backed investment opportunities across sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal due diligence for stressed and distressed assets.
- Review loan, security, title, and litigation documents.
- Support matters related to IBC, SARFAESI, DRT, and NCLT proceedings.
- Coordinate with ARCs, Resolution Professionals, legal advisors, and valuers.
- Assist in preparation of Resolution Plans, transaction documents, and legal summaries.
- Contribute to valuation, recoverability assessment, and transaction evaluation.
- Track legal risks, enforcement actions, and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- LLB / Integrated Law Degree from a recognized institution.
- 2–5 years of experience in ARCs, NBFCs, insolvency, restructuring, or distressed assets.
- Strong understanding of IBC, SARFAESI, security enforcement, and restructuring frameworks.
- Exposure to distressed real estate or large-ticket asset transactions preferred.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
