Job Description
- Provide legal counsel on business operations and strategies within the Cosmetics/Toiletries industry.
- Ensure compliance with local and international laws and regulations in the FMCG sector.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Manage legal risks and provide proactive solutions to mitigate potential issues.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings and liaise with external legal counsel when required.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure adherence to corporate governance policies.
- Monitor changes in legislation and advise on their impact on the business.
- Provide training to internal teams on legal and compliance matters.
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate should have:
- A degree in Law from a recognized institution.
- Proven expertise in handling legal matters in the FMCG sector, especially in Cosmetics/Toiletries.
- Strong knowledge of corporate and commercial laws relevant to the Mumbai region.
- Exceptional contract drafting and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple legal cases and provide timely solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
