Automotive Title Clerk
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate Starting at $20.00 per hour
Lee Auto Mall in Westbrook has an immediate opening in our business office for an Automotive Title Clerk. If you have strong customer service skills, play close attention to detail and excellent data entry skills apply now!
As an Automotive Title Clerk, you will be responsible for processing documents from new and used vehicle sales.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare tax and title documents to establish or transfer ownership of motor vehicles
- Submit title documents to the appropriate office, such as the Department of Motor Vehicles
- Verify that funds have been collected and the correct lien holder paid off before processing title applications
- Prepare payoff checks for new vehicles and trade-ins as necessary
- Prepare transfer documents and enter accounting for dealer swaps, used wholesale transactions, etc
Requirements:
- Strong data entry skills
- Bookkeeping or accounting experience a plus
- Detail-oriented
- Strong time-management skills
- Excellent communication skills
