Role Description

This is a remote contract-based role for a Leather Merchandiser at Exalter Global Co. The position operates strictly on a commission basis of 5%–10% on the net product value sold, excluding freight, taxes, duties, or any additional charges.

The role involves:

  • Conducting market analysis to identify trends in leather goods.
  • Communicating with global buyers to understand product requirements.
  • Generating and converting sales leads in international markets.
  • Developing and executing effective merchandising strategies.
  • Coordinating with production teams to ensure design alignment and quality standards.
  • Managing timelines to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with brands, wholesalers, and retailers.

This position rewards performance directly, offering high earning potential based on confirmed sales.

Compensation Structure
  • Commission: 5%–10% on confirmed product order value
  • Commission calculated strictly on ex-factory product cost
  • Freight, shipping, insurance, customs duty, GST/VAT, or any other taxes/charges are excluded from commission calculation
  • No fixed salary, TA/DA, or retainership included
Qualifications
  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively engage with international clients
  • Proven Sales and Marketing ability, especially in leather goods or export markets
  • Experience in Retail or global merchandising is an advantage
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Knowledge of global leather goods market and ethical manufacturing standards preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or related field (preferred but not mandatory for experienced candidates)
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup with a results-driven approach
