Role Description The Leasing Manager will be responsible for leasing commercial spaces in shopping malls, retail developments. The role involves identifying prospective tenants, negotiating commercial terms, executing lease agreements, maintaining tenant relationships, and achieving targeted occupancy and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
• Leasing & Business Development
• Develop and implement leasing strategies to maximize occupancy and rental revenue.
• Identify, approach, and onboard national, international, and local brands.
• Build and maintain relationships with retailers, corporate clients, franchise operators, and leasing consultants.
• Conduct market research to identify tenant demand and emerging retail trends.
• Prepare leasing plans, tenant mix strategies, and space utilization plans.
• Generate leasing leads through direct marketing, brokers, consultants, and industry networking.
• Conduct property presentations and site visits for prospective tenants.
• Evaluate tenant requirements and recommend suitable spaces.
• Coordinate with architects and project teams for tenant fit-out requirements.
• Coordinate with legal teams for preparation and execution of LOIs, Lease Agreements, Leave & License Agreements
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Real Estate, or related field.
MBA in Marketing or Real Estate preferred.
Experience
5–10 years of experience in commercial leasing, retail leasing, shopping malls, office leasing, or mixed-use developments.
Experience in leasing for shopping malls or commercial real estate is highly preferred.
Strong network with retailers, brands, brokers, and franchise operators.
