Role Description
The Learning Experience Designer (LXD) will be responsible for designing engaging and effective educational experiences aligned with LearningVault’s mission. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and creating structured, interactive learning experiences using our platform. This role focuses on transforming traditional academic content into engaging, modular, and outcome-driven courses. The candidate should be able to break down complex concepts into clear learning units and design interactive elements that improve understanding, retention, and learner engagement.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop interactive courses using the platform’s content tools
- Break down subjects into structured learning units (concept → example → practice → assessment)
- Convert traditional academic material into engaging, platform-friendly formats
- Create interactive exercises, quizzes, and assessments for each concept
- Ensure clarity, consistency, and logical flow across all learning modules
- Define clear learning outcomes for each topic and unit
- Continuously improve course content based on learner performance and feedback
- Collaborate with the product team to align content with platform capabilities
Qualifiactions
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field
- Strong understanding of core concepts in programming / computer science
- Ability to simplify complex topics into clear and engaging explanations
- Experience in teaching, content creation, or instructional design (preferred)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and content structuring ability
Preferred Skills (Bonus)
- Experience with online learning platforms or EdTech tools
- Understanding of interactive learning and learner engagement techniques
- Ability to design practice questions and evaluate learning outcomes
- Familiarity with subjects like programming, data structures, or problem-solving
