Role Overview
The L&D Executive will support end-to-end learning operations while also delivering short, activity-based training sessions for blue-collar employees across factory/shopfloor environments. The role requires strong execution ability, cultural sensitivity, and comfort working closely with frontline workers.
Key Responsibilities
1. L&D Operations & Coordination
- Manage training calendars, batch planning, and scheduling for shopfloor workforce
- Coordinate with plant HR, production supervisors, and external trainers
- Track training attendance, completion, and feedback
- Maintain training records, MIS, and dashboards
- Support onboarding and induction programs for new joiners (workmen category)
- Ensure compliance trainings (safety, hygiene, POSH awareness where applicable) are executed and documented
2. Shopfloor Training Delivery
- Conduct bite-sized (20–60 min), hands-on, activity-driven sessions on:
- Workplace discipline & behaviour
- Basic communication & teamwork
- Safety awareness & compliance
- Quality and hygiene practices (critical for seafood processing)
- Process orientation and efficiency basics
- Use simple language, storytelling, demonstrations, role plays, and visual aids
- Adapt content to low-literacy audiences
- Ensure high engagement and participation
3. Content & Program Support
- Customize training materials in local language + Hindi
- Translate SOP-based learning into easy-to-understand modules
- Create quick job aids, posters, and visual learning tools
- Support development of structured learning journeys for workmen
4. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with:
- Plant HR
- Production supervisors
- Quality & Safety teams
- Gather training needs from shopfloor
- Support implementation of L&D interventions aligned to plant goals
5. Impact Tracking
- Capture feedback from associates and supervisors
- Track basic impact metrics (attendance, behaviour change indicators, supervisor feedback)
- Continuously improve training effectiveness
Candidate Profile
Must-Have
- 3-7 years of experience in:
- L&D / HR operations / Training delivery
- OR NGO / skill development / vocational training
- Experience working with blue-collar / shopfloor workforce preferred
Language Requirement
Fluent in English, Malayalam & Hindi (mandatory)
