Job Purpose / Summary:
As an L&D professional, the primary responsibility is to design, develop, and deliver impactful training programs aligned with L&D strategy, industry trends, and regulatory guidelines. The role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive effective learning initiatives and capability development across the organization.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Preferred Certifications (Mandatory/Highly Preferred):
- Candidates with DISC, MBTI, and ISTD certifications will be strongly preferred.
- Training & Course Development:
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify capability gaps. Design and develop engaging training programs, presentations, case studies, assessments, and learning interventions focused on banking operations, financial products, customer service, and behavioral skills.
- Training Delivery & Impact Analysis:
- Deliver classroom and virtual training programs for bank employees using interactive methodologies. Measure training effectiveness and learning impact through assessments, feedback, and performance analysis.
- Assessment & Continuous Improvement:
- Evaluate trainee progress through regular assessments and feedback mechanisms. Continuously improve training content and delivery based on participant feedback, business needs, and industry updates.
- Industry & Regulatory Awareness:
- Stay updated on banking regulations, industry trends, and emerging learning technologies, and incorporate relevant updates into training programs.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Partner with business teams, coordinators, and L&D leadership to address functional and behavioral training requirements effectively.
- Budgeting & Resource Management:
- Ensure optimum utilization of training resources within assigned budgets and training plans.
- Team Management:
- Lead, motivate, and upskill team members while ensuring adherence to discipline, productivity, and organizational code of conduct.
Experience / Skillset / Certifications Required
- Educational Qualification:
- Post Graduate degree mandatory (MBA preferred).
- Additional certifications such as CAIIB/JAIIB will be an advantage.
- Experience:
- 5–10 years of experience in the BFSI sector with relevant Learning & Development experience.
- Key Skills & Competencies:DISC, MBTI, and ISTD certification preferred
- Strong understanding of banking regulations and policies
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
- Expertise in training content development and impact analysis
- Strong stakeholder and team management capabilities
- Hands-on experience in budgeting and training planning
- Proficiency in MS Office, training tools, and data analysis
- Adaptability to evolving industry and learning technologies
