Job Title: Learning & Development (L&D) Senior Manager

Role Overview
The L&D Senior Manager will be responsible for independently designing, deploying, and evaluating learning initiatives that enhance behavioural, leadership, and functional competencies across Nspira’s ecosystem. The role demands strong program ownership, instructional design expertise, and facilitation excellence, while working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, business heads, and school leaders to translate organizational priorities into impactful learning experiences that drive performance and growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Learning Needs & Strategy
- Conduct needs analysis through stakeholder consultations, performance data, and organizational goals.
- Translate insights into an annual learning plan with clear priorities and delivery modes.
- Partner with HR and function heads to ensure alignment between learning outcomes and business impact.
2. Program Design & Development
- Design end-to-end learning programs (behavioural, leadership, and service excellence) customized to learner segments.
- Develop content, facilitator guides, e-learning modules, and participant workbooks.
- Apply adult learning principles, storytelling, and experiential design to ensure engagement and retention.
3. Facilitation & Delivery
- Independently facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions across multiple business units.
- Employ creative facilitation techniques such as simulations, role plays, and group activities.
- Maintain high participant engagement and measure immediate learning impact through feedback tools.
4. Learning Operations & Administration
- Manage training logistics, scheduling, communication, and vendor coordination.
- Track attendance, feedback, and learning progress using LMS and reporting tools.
- Maintain updated dashboards on training coverage, completion, and outcomes.
5. Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
- Use the Kirkpatrick framework to assess learning effectiveness.
- Collect feedback and data to refine content and delivery methods continuously.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and digitization of learning processes.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education:
- Master’s degree in human resources, Psychology, Education, or related discipline.
Experience:
- 4–12 years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Management, or Organizational Development.
- Demonstrated expertise in instructional design, facilitation, and content creation.
- Exposure to education, service, or other people-intensive industries preferred.
Certifications:
- Certification in Instructional Design, ISTD (Indian Society for Training & Development), or equivalent international credentials (ATD, CIPD, etc.) will be an added advantage.
- Certification in Applied or Organizational Psychology, or other behavioural science disciplines will also be a strong plus.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills.
- Strong instructional design and adult learning expertise.
- Proficiency in digital learning tools and LMS platforms.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to measure learning effectiveness.
- High initiative, collaboration, and innovation orientation.
