Head of Hiring & Training

The Role
Own the caregiver supply engine end-to-end: sourcing, vetting, onboarding, certification, and quality training
Founding leadership role — build the systems, standards, and team behind FamCare's trust promise
Directly impacts repeat usage rate (~65%) and ability to scale into new complexes and verticals
What You'll Own
Build sourcing pipelines for Aadhaar-verified caregivers, prioritizing nursing/paramedical backgrounds for future elder care cross-utilization
Run the full recruitment funnel: sourcing, screening, interviews, background verification, offer, onboarding
Partner with nursing colleges and vocational institutes for consistent talent inflow
Manage Aadhaar verification and background checks; maintain audit-ready documentation
Design training curriculum and certification framework for baby care, safety, and emergency response
Run refresher/upskilling programs tied to quality and repeat usage metrics
Track caregiver quality KPIs (ratings, task completion, safety, attrition) and build retention programs
Build and lead a hiring/training team; set up ATS/LMS systems for high-volume hiring
What We're Looking For
6–10+ years in HR/talent acquisition, healthcare staffing, or vocational training/L&D, with high-volume frontline hiring experience
Prior exposure to nursing/paramedical talent pools or healthcare workforce hiring — strong plus
Track record building training curricula and certification programs, not just hiring pipelines
Comfortable hands-on and ground-level — not a policy-only HR role
Startup mindset — able to build process from scratch with limited resources
Strong stakeholder management across Founders, Ops, and Tech
Preferred, not mandatory: experience building an L&D function from scratch and hiring/managing teams
