Role Description
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Learning & Development Specialist to lead the design, development, and implementation of impactful learning initiatives for our members, volunteers, and community stakeholders. The role focuses on building capability, enhancing engagement, and supporting holistic community development aligned with organizational objectives and Jain values.
The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in instructional design, curriculum development, facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and modern learning methodologies, along with a deep commitment to education and social impact
Qualifications
- Design, develop, and implement learning and development programs aligned with organizational goals and community needs.
- Develop structured curricula, learning journeys, competency frameworks, and instructional design models for various learning initiatives.
- Create engaging learning content including training manuals, facilitator guides, presentations, assessments, e-learning modules, and digital learning resources.
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, leadership programs, and learning events for diverse audiences including members, volunteers, trainers, and community representatives.
- Conduct training needs analysis through surveys, feedback mechanisms, and stakeholder interactions to identify capability gaps and developmental priorities.
- Manage and utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms for training deployment, tracking, and learner engagement.
- Collaborate with internal teams, subject matter experts, and external facilitators to ensure effective program delivery.
- Monitor, evaluate, and measure the effectiveness of learning interventions through feedback, assessments, and impact analysis.
- Introduce innovative learning methodologies, digital tools, and educational technologies to enhance learner engagement and outcomes.
- Provide mentoring, guidance, and ongoing support to learners and facilitators to ensure continuous development.
- Maintain training records, reports, and documentation related to learning initiatives.
- Stay updated with current trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in learning and development.
Education & Expertise:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, Talent Development, or a related field.
- Proven experience in curriculum development, instructional design, competency mapping, and learning content creation.
- Hands-on experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), e-learning platforms, and digital learning tools.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and blended learning methodologies.
- Proven track record in designing and delivering successful training and capability-building programs.
- Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Understanding community-based learning and social sector training initiatives will be an added advantage.
- Exposure to Jain philosophy, values, or community engagement initiatives is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in education, Human Resources, Psychology, Organizational Development, or a related discipline.
- Master’s degree and/or certifications such as CPLP, CPTM, Instructional Design, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
