Learning & Development Manager – F&B Operations

Key Responsibilities
Training & Development
- Design, implement, and manage training programs for all F&B associates, supervisors, and managers.
- Conduct induction and onboarding programs for new F&B team members.
- Develop SOP-based operational training modules for restaurants, bar, in-room dining, banquets, and specialty dining outlets.
- Conduct regular refresher training on service standards, food safety, hygiene, grooming, and guest interaction.
- Identify training needs through performance evaluations, guest feedback, audits, and operational observations.
- Create learning calendars and monthly training schedules for F&B departments.
- Service Excellence & Quality Standards
- Ensure all F&B associates consistently deliver exceptional guest experiences aligned with luxury hospitality standards.
- Train teams on upselling techniques, menu knowledge, wine & beverage service, and personalized guest engagement.
- Monitor service quality through audits, mystery audits, and floor observations.
- Support outlet managers in improving guest satisfaction scores and service consistency.
Operational Support
- Collaborate with F&B leadership to improve productivity, communication, and operational execution.
- Support pre-opening or new outlet training initiatives when required.
- Maintain updated SOPs, training manuals, and learning records.
- Conduct train-the-trainer sessions for departmental leaders.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure all F&B employees are trained in hygiene, food safety, HACCP, and workplace safety standards.
- Maintain training compliance records and certifications.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, brand standards, and statutory requirements.
- Team Development & Culture
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and learning culture across the F&B division.
- Mentor high-potential employees and support career development plans.
- Promote positive teamwork, discipline, and professional grooming standards.
