Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Learning and Development Manager, located in Kolkata. The Learning and Development Manager will lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of training programs to enhance employee skills and grow organizational capabilities. Responsibilities include conducting needs assessments, creating development plans, facilitating training sessions, and monitoring progress to ensure knowledge transfer and employee engagement. The role will focus on aligning training initiatives with business objectives to foster continuous professional development and drive organizational excellence.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in designing and delivering training programs, conducting needs assessments, and crafting learning strategies
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills with a focus on employee development and engagement
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for clearly presenting content and engaging stakeholders
- Experience in leadership, team development, and performance improvement processes
- Knowledge of learning technologies, e-learning platforms, and assessments to support training initiatives
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Experience in hospitality, tourism, or service industries is an advantage
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Human Resources, Learning and Development, Organizational Psychology, or related fields
