UX Researcher

Job Title: UX Researcher/Service Designer Contract Length: 6 Months Location: Glasgow (2 days on site, 3 days remote) Rate: £500/day (Inside IR35, Umbrella only) About the Role A leading organisation is seeking a UX Researcher/Service Designer to join their team on a 6 month contract. This role involves conducting in-depth research, designing user-centric services, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, customer focused experiences. Key Responsibilities Conduct user research to uncover customer needs, preferences, and pain points Create service blueprints, journey maps, and personas to visualise experiences Collaborate with product managers, developers, and marketing teams to design service solutions Facilitate workshops and design sprints to co-create with stakeholders Prototype and test service concepts, iterating based on user feedback and performance data Analyse service performance and customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities Document design processes and outcomes for knowledge sharing and continuity Requirements Strong background in UX research and service design Experience with service blueprints, journey mapping, and persona development Skilled in facilitation of workshops and co-creation sessions Ability to translate insights into actionable design solutions Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
