SoC Verification Architect / SoC Testbench Architect
LeadIC is seeking an experienced SoC Verification Architect / SoC Testbench Architect to define and drive the verification architecture for complex SoCs featuring GPU, DSP, multimedia, and AI accelerator subsystems. The ideal candidate will lead verification planning, methodology development, reusable testbench architecture, and coverage closure through tape-out.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the overall SoC verification strategy and architecture.
- Architect reusable, scalable SystemVerilog/UVM verification environments.
- Develop reusable verification IP, scoreboards, checkers, assertions, and coverage models.
- Drive verification planning at block, subsystem, and SoC levels.
- Establish verification metrics and ensure coverage closure.
- Collaborate with architecture, RTL, firmware, and validation teams.
- Lead verification of GPU, DSP, multimedia, AI accelerator, and signal-processing subsystems.
- Validate coherency, memory hierarchy, QoS, power management, and data integrity.
- Drive regression automation and methodology improvements.
- Lead technical reviews, mentor verification engineers, and coordinate cross-functional execution.
- Support verification sign-off and tape-out readiness.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of ASIC/SoC verification experience.
- Strong expertise in SystemVerilog, UVM, Assertions (SVA), Functional Coverage, and Coverage-Driven Verification.
- Experience architecting scalable verification environments and reusable testbench frameworks.
- Deep understanding of SoC architecture and subsystem integration.
- Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills.
- Experience leading complex SoC verification programs through tape-out.
Preferred Skills
- GPU, DSP, multimedia, image/video processing, or AI accelerator verification.
- AMBA protocols (AXI, AHB, APB, CHI).
- DDR, PCIe, USB, Ethernet, and NoC verification.
- Cache coherency and memory hierarchy verification.
- Regression automation and verification infrastructure development.
- Verification leadership and team mentoring.
